Objective
The CNIC IIF Programme will offer a total of 24 positions during the COFUND programme life (four years) in the incoming mobility type in the area of cardiovascular research.
Every year six fellowships will be offered at the level of young group leaders: 4 Starting Fellowships (SF) and 2 Advanced Fellowships (AF). In both cases, the duration of the fellowships will be 3 years and have particular objectives both in research training and overall career development. The fellowship will include a research project prepared by the research fellow in coordination with the CNIC research department of choice, tailored to the needs of the researcher to allow him/her to reach a realistic and well-defined objective in terms of gaining new experience to strength his/her new leading independent position (leading research projects, management and organisational skills, building collaborations, student’s supervision, etc.).
