Objetivo Widesens aims to design and develop a prototype analytical drinking water probe and its complementary applications for in-pipe water quality measurement with ideal specifications for a wide deployment. These sensors will be based on microelectronic technologies (ISFET, IDEs and microelectrodes). As a first approach they will measure pH, conductivity, bio-fouling, oxidative reduction potential (ORP) and chlorine. Also special mechanics and electronics will be fabricated to achieve self-calibration and maintenance procedures, long lifetimes and remote monitoring. Finally, leak-detection will also be enabled through pressure sensors.
