Cel

TO PROVIDE EXTENDED METHODS WHETHER NUMERICAL OR PHYSICAL TO PREDICT THE BEHAVIOUR OF HEAVY GAS CLOUDS.

PHASE 4: NUMERICAL MODEL STUDY :
COMPARISON AND EVALUATION OF NUMERICAL MODELS WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS, ESPECIALLY WITH RESPECT TO OBSTACLE EFFECTS. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DISTRIBUTIONAL PROPERTIES IN NUMERICAL MODELS, IF FEASIBLE.
PHASE 5: CASE STUDY ON CONTINUOUS RELEASES :
A FULL SCALE EXPERIMENT ON A REAL INDUSTRIAL SITE WITH SUBSEQUENT WIND-TUNNEL AND NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS.
PHASE 6: REPORTING AND EVALUATION OF ALL RESULTS.
PHASE 7: COORDINATION
SPECIFIC :SOLVAY & CIE WILL BE CONTRIBUTING TO PHASES 4, 5 AND 6 OF THE PROJECT, BRINGING ITS EXPERIENCE IN ATMOSPHERIC DISPERSION MODELLING AND COMPUTING.
