RESEARCH ON THE METHODOLOGY AND GEOPHYSICAL TECHNIQUES APPLICABLE TO COMPLEX GEOLOGICAL SITUATIONS

Ziel

To enhance the seismic data quality in complex geological environments using newly recorded data and removing phase distorsions created by the weathering layer.
Results of the implementation of the project have been obtained on real and synthetic data and are applied to compute, in source and receiver domains, the correlation between time shifts and phase distortions. Applications consists of a second order correction of residual static values.
Accurate recording of new data with a data processing composed to conventional methods.
Experimental evaluation of residual static anomalies using a surface consistent technique.
