Experience in solid rock could not yet be gained.The penetrometer has been carefully tested and modified.The geophysical equipment is a combination of precision-echosounder, side scan sonar, boomer, sparker and a digital system. The system has been tested and is operational. The development of procassing-programmes has been finished.Two vibration devices ("kieler hammer" and "senkowitch") have been tested on the coring device winch that will be installed and are operational.The ship "berliner tor":Tests, sea trials and mooring tests have demonstrated that the ship suits very well for use in the southern part of the north sea.
