Obiettivo A stirling gas engine-driven compression heat pump is used for space heating of a 100 dwelling apartment building. The interest of the project is coupling a stirling engine with a heat pump.The building has a heat load of 800 kW. The heat pump provides the basic space heating and a gas boiler will act as an auxiliary heating device.The stirling engine will provide 40 kW (mechanical output) plus 50 kW (thermal output). The hot water for space heating is delivered at 70 d.c.
