Design and installation of a monitoring/control system for FERBLATIL pickling plants 1 and 2: ergonomics of the man/computer dialogue and interface

Objective

Aims of project:

To design the monitoring and control system for two pickling lines on the basis of ergonomic criteria.

To help ensure that the best possible ergonomic choices are made in the radical modernisation of two existing lines, in the light of the severe constraints which exist.

To monitor the start-up stage for each line and participate in operator training.

To evaluate the quality of the main interfaces by means of a validated questionnaire.

Subject of the research:

Radical modernisation of two pickling lines with a view to boosting productivity, by making the process continuous and switching from an entirely manual to a fully computerised control system (with the possibility of reverting to manual control in the event of computer malfunction).
