Obiettivo The overall objective of the project is to develop an efficient and reliable non-physical fish fence system using a combination of infrasonic and pulsed electric fields generated by purpose built transducers. When the pilot scale fence is developed it will be tank tested with a variety of species ans sizes of fish to optimize performance. It may be possible to make the fence function as a filter depending on fish size. The optimized system will be set up off-shore to test performance under field conditions. An important aspect of this test will be the comparison between the fields predicted by models and those generated in practice.
