Objetivo The project aims at an increase of competitiveness and a reduction of the environmental pollution of agricultural production through a diversification of the cropping system and the utilization of favourable symbiotic associations. The research tasks include: - reduction of nitrogen input through the utilization of leguminous crops; - reduction of herbicide input in crop rotations; - reduced tillage systems; - alternative crops or alternative crop utilization; - improvement of native rhizobia and mycorrhiza populations.
