Objective
Our objective is to bring researchers closer to the public, highlighting the importance of research, Trying to realize a fix appointment, our forth proposal will partially maintain “2008 theme”: last year we have anticipated the International Astronomy Year, organized by ONU & Unesco to help the citizens of the world rediscover their place in the Universe We have decided to join this event to our Researchers’Night, partially focusing it on the astronomy field. For this reason, two of the partners are National Astrophysics Institute and CIRA Aerospatiale Research. To avoid the possibility of a limited audience and to enlarge the potential impact, reaching a correct multidisciplinarity, the other partners will be MIUR Regional School, Scientific Technological Park, Osservatorio Vesuviano: the first will enable the presence of about twenty schools that will exhibit the school works and researches, PST will present the large part of their one hundred partners, private and public companies, Observatory INGV, as the other editions will continue his presence. The activities will set in Naples and in Benevento: in the main European Corner in Piazza Dante will be displayed the posters and will take place the award ceremony during a big party and in Benevento will be placed an other European Stand in Piazza Duomo, the main square of the town.We will focalise our attention on an equilibrate balance between entertainment/festive and scientific/demonstrative activities, enjoyable by both adults and children Our wish is that each year the Researchers’ Night will be an event more and more focused on the discovery, the fun and on being together with the maximum of participation from both people and researchers. So giving to the researchers a concrete occasion to play with their knowledge involving all kind of people, and an informal opportunity to talk and dialogue with them, to share and show their passions in the scientific work and in everyday activities.
