Objective

Deliverables

  • Insulators in bilayer lattices

    Report on the theoretical schemes for generating insulating states in lattices with bilayer heterostructures.

  • Many-body localization

    Report on theoretical and experimental understanding of the properties of the many-body localization phenomenon. The report will combine all the experimental and theoretical work by the participants.

  • Transport in low dimensions

    Report on the transport properties of two- and one-dimensional bosonic and fermionic systems. The report will combine all the experimental and theoretical work by the participants.

  • Topological insulators in hexagonal lattices

    Report on the properties calculated and measured for topological insulators realized in hexagonal optical lattices. The report will combine all the experimental and theoretical work by the participants.

  • Data Management plan

    Data management plan as requested by the Horizon 2020 Open Research Data Pilot.

  • Nature of Anderson localization

    Report on the tests of the fundamental mechanisms for Anderson localization. The report will combine all the experimental and theoretical work by the participants.

  • Towards Majorana fermions with atoms

    Report on theoretical proposals for observing Majorana fermions in ultracold atomic systems. The report will be mainly theoretical, but will contain realistic proposal for the experiments in the consortium.

  • Superfluid-insulator transitions

    Report on the properties of superfluid-insulator transitions in disordered bosonic systems. The report will address both experimental and theoretical aspects.

  • Anderson localization from 3D to 2D

    Report on the evolution of the properties of Anderson localization for non-interacting systems evolving from three to two spatial dimensions. The report will combine all the experimental and theoretical work by the participants.

  • Project's web page

    Realization of the project web page, to be used to improve the communication within the consortium and disseminate the project's goals and results to the scientific community and the general public.
