Ergonomic work station design for operators in rail finishing installation

Objective

The project will aim to improve the physical, cognitive and mental wellbeing of operators in a rail finishing installation by integrating in the process of converting and building control cabines the elements needed to take proper account of human factors and the safety of the workforce.

Ways and Means to Achieve the Work

The ergonomics aspects of the modernization process will be dealt with in the following phases:

1. Contextual analysis of the project

2. General study of the system

3. Analysis of the working activity

4. Devising of solutions and recommendations

5. Ergonomic supervision and monitoring of the work start-up phase.
