Cluster Management beyond High Performance Computing

Objective

This project concerns the further development and scaling up of Bright Cluster Manager beyond High Performance Computing (Bright Beyond HPC). It shall gain advanced functionalities in the areas of Big Data and Cloud computing. The enhancements shall enable Bright Computing to expand their market position significantly and the technology enables the market to benefit, in an ease-of-use manner, of Cluster Management. Bright Computing is a Dutch, venture-backed tech company, and is a partner of the European Technology Platform For High Performance Computing (ETP4HPC, see also www.etp4hpc.eu) and has already reached a mature position in the High Performance Computing Cluster Management market. This project ensures further deployment into the EU market and is the necessary step for scaling up of the innovation activities in order to take High Performance Computing to the next level.

The objective of this project is to solve the Cluster Management problem in the High Performance Computing, Big Data/Hadoop and OpenStack Cloud Computing markets by developing and bringing Bright Beyond HPC to market readiness.
