The project aims to valorize the archaeological, culture, landscape and environmental heritage through the interaction of the scientific areas of archaeology and landscape architecture; to make the project profitable in the tourism area and to guarantee, at the same time, that the heritage values and cultural identity won't be discharacterized.

The project is based on the existing valuable archaeological heritage of the Evora District with its environment and landscape being of great importance. We pretend to begin the landscape and environmental arrangemens of some monuments, trying, at the same time, to find efficient forms of linking between man and Environment. Creation of pedestrian routes; involvement of schools as the means of personality structuring of the young and providing efficient pedagogical information to the visitors, will reinforce different forms of visitors' identities.
The inclusion to the project of the components also integrated in the rural space, such as traditional cooking, customs and rural ethnography, will make profitable this project, contributing at the same time to the rural development and extending the period of tourists' visiting in the Evora District.
