Cel The present proposal main objective is the development of programmes and actions finalised to the restoration and defence of the streams Koren and Vrtojbica. In order to reach this aim, technical analysis of the different hydraulic and environmental aspects will be carried out.The activities developed with the present proposal will be the following: - hydrological study of the Koren and Vrtojbica watershed for the maximum flood probability evaluation; - definition, through the mathematical model application and on the basis of the available water level measurements, of the esondation risk areas; - evaluation of the expansion basin and definition of its optimal dimension; - project of the control works necessary for the defence of the areas close to the expansion basin and of the derivation works necessary for its management; - definition and acquisition, through field measurement, of the quali-quantitiative water data; - automatic system project for water measurement control.
