Fourier Analysis

Cel

WROCLAW team comprises 16 mathematicians working in harmonic analysis related to the theory of Lie groups, geometry and orthogonal polynomials; The interrelation between the members of the team and the other teams in the net is quite strong as the numerous joint publications attest. The continuation and intensification of thr cooperation will greatly improve the quality of our research and it will enable us to preserve and deepen the link to the main trends of word mathematics. The network will play a crucial role in the training of the young mathematicians at the post -doctoral level. Only three out of sixteen members of our team are above 40 years old.
The research will continue to concentrate on the following areas: 1) Subalgebras of operators generated by a single differential or pseudodifferential operator;
2) Analysis on solvable groups of Iwasawa type NA;
3) Toeplitz operators based on wavelet related reproducing formulas; 4) classical orthogonal expansions and general orthogonal polynomials; 5) probability theory and harmonic analysis.
