Cel The research network proposed here consists of two Russian institutes, the National Research Center of Mental Health, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in Moscow, the Institute of Pediatrics and Children Surgery, Ministery of Health, in Moscow, one Lithuanian institute, the Lithuanian Oncology Center in Vilnius, and one institute from Estonia, Laboratory of Molecular Genetics, Institute of Chemical Physics & Biophysics in Tallinn. The Center of Human Genetics in Leuven, which will act as coordinator of the proposed network, is participating as coordinating institute of the Biomed 1 Concerted Research Program "Molecular Cytogenetics of Solid Tumors" (PL920156; BMH1-CT92-0156) in which about 70 European laboratories participate; Dr.Van de Ven is the project leader of this program. To benefit optimally, the research network will be fully integrated in this Biomed l research program; this will allow network-exchanges of personnel and materials with the 70 participating laboratories of the niomed 1 program. Management of the activities of the network will be under control and supervision of the Project Management Group of the Biomed 1 Program "Molecular Cytogenetics of Solid Tumors".
