To improve the level of knowledge of the evolutive phenomena in mountain areas characterized by an hydrological risk.


- Research into the methods of analysis on the causes and the consequences of the phenomena which contribute to the degradation of the mountainous environment.
- Build validation models for risk and vulnerability.
- Review of the prevention actions presently adopted.
- Research into the scientific and technical methodology in order to prevent hazard phenomena.
- Recommendations for the adoption of prevention methodologies in the Alpine territory.
