Objective Improved Image Reconstruction Electrical Impedance images reconstructed using the well established backprojection algorithm suffer from distortions due to the simplifying assumptions made. This proposal seeks to address principally the problems of image distortion inherent in this method. If successful this would represent a very useful contribution to image reconstruction technology.
