Objectif The direct objective of the project is to analyse the fuel usage of the fleets of the urban bus companies in the cities of Patra (GR) and Cork (IRL). The broader objective is to develop the appropriate package for the medium-sized european cities.The documentation is formulated to be easily adaptable to other bus organisations operating in different environments. Within the objectives of the project is the development of training modules aiming at energy efficient operation, addressed to the following categories of personnel of the bus operator:- Maintenance staff;- Bus drivers;- Managers, executives, senior staff.The DECUB project has an integrated approach covering all issues related with the fuel efficiency in Urban bus operations, mainly:a - state of the art in automotive technology in respect with fuel efficiency (factors affecting bus fuel consumption, alternative fuel, fuel eff.
