Objective BABEL tackles potential cultural barriers to telematics deployment. Cultural diversity can be harnessed to productive telematics development if properly addressed. In BABEL, it will be a practical operational concept for development and subsequent validation. Collective expertise in telematics management will be pooled with experience of handling cultural differences in multinational business. The business methods will then be adapted to telematics services development with support from appropriate tools to facilitate integration of cultural factors alongside legal or other requirements.
