Objective . To develop and test a comprehensive methodology for the evaluation of the quality of the transport systems amd services in Europe. . To validate such methodology through the comparison of the quality of alternative modal solutions for selected transport relations.. To support decision making of planners, inventors and managers of transport systems in the identification of policies and strategies.. To substantiate information and communication compaigns aiming at steering the users preference towards higher quality transport solutions.. To identify and elaborate indicators allowing to measure the internal performance and the perceived quality of transport systems and services.. To assess and validate a methodological framework for the internalisation of externalities into the valuation of transport systems. %. To classify variables and parameters to be used for the valuation of transport systems. . To assess the availability of data for the actual implementation of the valuation methodology. .
