Exactly solvable 3D models of statistical mechanics

Objectif

The aim of the programme is to construct exactly solvable 3D lattice statistical mechanical models with nearest-neighbours interaction and investigate the corresponding mathematical and physical properties.

The following studies will be carried out: generalization of the 'bi-plane' model to the case of N planes interacting locally; development of new methods for solving the Bethe-Ansatz equations and calculating the partition function in the thermodynamic limit; examination of physical and mathematical properties (free energy calculation, character of phase transitions, phase diagram, critical indexes) of the exactly solvable bi-plane vertex models; investigation of the thermodynamic properties (study of the phase transition character, calculation of critical indexes, and verification of the scaling hypothesis) of the 3D lattice statistical model.
