Social skills to help the long-term unemployed return to the labour market

Obiettivo

This project is designed to combat the total exclusion from the labour market of the long-term unemployed. It will conduct a very detailed study and analysis of the reasons why people who have received quality training are not able to get a job. Individuals will be interviewed with a view to determining their particular training needs and potential for employment in given areas.

The partners will create a database of information that is collected. Personal development work sessions will be organised and training will be provided for entrepreneurs. The methodology of the project is based on the 'investigation in action' principle, because contact with the target group will enable the partners to draw important conclusions about the fight against long-term unemployment.

Impact
Conclusions drawn from this project will permit improvements to be made in training provision and contribute to the creation of a model for the whole of Europe concerning standard advice to the long-term unemployed.
