Objetivo Socio-economic change has caused guidance work to evolve and develop. Nonetheless, few if any practical guides or training programmes for guidance counsellors/skills-assessors are available. The project partners therefore propose to prepare a suitable training package (including functional methods/tools to meet identified needs). In practical terms, they will organise two training programmes and publish/distribute two works (French, Italian and English) describing essential tools for:- quality guidance;- skills assessment;- assessment of potential;- career-planning and skills-management education.Rather than providing a mere list of approaches, the material will define suitable methods and tools for particular target-groups and their specific requirements, thus meeting a wide range of differing needs (domestic and international mobility, promotion, non-directed reorientation, assessment of obsolete skills, etc.) and covering different categories of people (unqualified teenagers, graduates, employees in various sectors).
