Objectif Over the last decade there has been an increasing awareness throughout Europe about the inherent dangers of continuing to damage the natural environment. One current and continuing aspect of this damage is water pollution. The participating countries have identified an immediate and growing requirement for trained specialised staff in this area. This project aims to develop an environmental training multimedia pack for investigating and treating water pollution. The main focus of the activities will be the development and production of teaching materials and a teaching module. Learning materials will use modern information technology and self-teaching methods. They will be targeted at students in all vocational schools that include the study of water pollution in their curriculum. The material will be available to any institution or industrial company that wants to use them and will be applicable throughout the EU.ImpactThe project will enable students to acquire new cross-disciplinary skills which can be applied to new job opportunities. It will improve the vocational and scientific expertise of the colleges involved.Contract number : FIN/96/1/03008/PI/I.1.1.a/FPIDomaine : Initial vocational trainingContents : Training in environmental protection Products : Open and distance learning material Group training with tutor Computer/electronic-based materials Public : Young people in training Trainers, designers & managers of training programmes Workers in companies Programme(s) ET-LEONARDO DA VINCI 1 - Action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy Leonardo da Vinci, 1995-1999 Thème(s) I.1.1.a - Initial vocational training Appel à propositions Data not available Régime de financement CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Coordinateur PORVOO VOCATIONAL SCHOOL (PAOL) Contribution de l’UE Aucune donnée Adresse PERÄMIEHENTIE 6 06100 Porvoo Finlande Voir sur la carte Coût total Aucune donnée
