Personalisation of training courses

Objetivo

Participants undertaking courses in training institutions, co-operatives and companies have diverse training needs in terms of their starting points, capacities, goals, learning styles, labour market status, geographical location and exit points. The partners have designed this pilot project to ensure quality responses to these varied training needs through the individualisation of training programmes, creating personalised courses or training arrangements for individual trainees for individual jobs.
The work will include:
- an exchange of information about systems and practices between project partners and the development of a framework for the analysis of this information;
- drawing up guidelines for the development of a system of personalised training;
- devising a programme for the training of trainers;
- and the development and testing of personalised materials, methods and processes in at least two specific subject areas.

Impact
Training systems in partner countries will be able to offer programmes which are tailored to the needs of individual trainees. This will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of training and hence the skills of the workforce.
