Objective This project will address both youth dissatisfaction with, and the design gaps in, how training is commissioned, designed and delivered. The partners will explore a methodology for developing user involvement. If training professionals keep close to the customer, there is a much greater chance of designing products which the latter want to use and will continue to use.The objectives are to improve the attractiveness, meaningfulness and relevance of training to young and marginalised young people in the labour market and to improve the credibility of training products among youth. Four national videos and one European video will be produced on new approaches and lessons learnt. Four national reports and one European report will also be produced. ImpactThe partners expect to raise the awareness of training design and delivery agents about the ways in which the customer can be more closely involved in training product development. They also intend to develop a better match between training provision and the needs and aspirations of young people.Contract number : UK/96/1/40006/PI/I.1.1.e/CONTDomaine : Life long learningContents : Evaluation of vocational training Access to vocational training Products : Methodologies for analysing training needs Distance training Book, manual, guide Public : Trainers, designers & managers of training programmes Disadvantaged groups Young people in training Programme(s) ET-LEONARDO DA VINCI 1 - Action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy Leonardo da Vinci, 1995-1999 Topic(s) I.1.1.e - Vocational training arrangements for persons disadvantaged on the labour market Call for proposal Data not available Funding Scheme CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Coordinator SEGAL QUINCE WICKSTEED LIMITED EU contribution No data Address THE GRANGE, MARKET STREET CB4 5QG Cambridge United Kingdom See on map Total cost No data
