Objectif With rapid changes in the demands placed upon people in their work, it is difficult to remain in work without continuing training. For disabled (mental illness), unemployed people the challenge of firstly finding a job and then remaining competitive in that job is enormous.This project will undertake research in training sector and employer organisations to identify ways of creating continuing training that is appropriate for people recovering from mental illnesses, including open and distance learning solutions. It will also look at employers' needs with regard to this group and will develop a system of seamless support for trainees and workers.
