Obiettivo Environmental protection is a concern for both enterprises and the authorities. A major effort has been made to encourage the development of environmental geotechnics, yet there are few specialists with the skills and know-how required to practice this profession. This pilot project aims to define a new training path and to define new occupational figures with the necessary technical and scientific skills.GEOTEC will begin with a preliminary study highlighting technological development - on a European scale - in the geotechnic sector and similar development in universities and training organisations. The next step will be to create the models required to train future environmental geo-technicians. A series of practical assignments alongside a number of case studies will complete their training.
