Fauna europaea

Objective

The project will benefit from the end-users and experts input. Milestones in this process are the definition of the taxonomic framework, the application of supporting software tools for data transfer, and the collation and validation of the expert data files. The contributions of experts in Europe is essential for the project. The successful interaction with these experts is vital, as it will show the involvement of the scientific community with the Fauna European project. The project management will also develop mechanisms to ensure the continuity of the Fauna European service.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
