Objetivo The project aims are to create a solid structure to support the research in economic evaluation of health in the Latin American region, to develop the local capacity to carry out studies and to promote the application to decision making. The work will be divided in three phases, an introductory one of a launching nature, where the objectives, methodologies, roles of the participants and operational protocols will be discussed and agreed. It will also include the training activities and the transfer of analytical technologies and know how. In the second phase the field work and data collection that will be reflected in the country reports will be carried out. The third phase will include the analysis, discussion of conclusions and policy implications and the dissemination of the results.
