Energy technologies and indoor air quality: state of the art and review of significant trends (ETIAQ)

Objectif

At the present time, the link between innovative energy technologies in buildings and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has been poorly addressed in the promotion and dissemination tools at EU level. However, IAQ is closely related to sustainable development in the building sector and human health & safety. Therefore how integrate building sustainability, human health and energy efficiency.
The aim of the present action is to develop an instrument (on CD-ROM) providing information and advice to policy and decision-makers, architects, designers and manufacturers on:
1. Existing innovative energy technologies for buildings and their influence on IAQ
2. Successful building demonstration projects combining low energy consumption and high IAQ
3. Trends for future developments in building energy technologies and their influence on IAQ
4. Existing norms and trends for future standards related to IAQ and energy consumption
5. Strategies for achieving low energy consumption rates and high IAQ standards in buildings
