Obiettivo A European Workshop on Individual Monitoring of External Radiation will be organised on 4-6 September, 2000, in Helsinki, Finland. The Workshop assesses the present status of individual monitoring procedures and requirements for external radiation within the EU Member States and within Europe. The Workshop will review current research programmes and recent developments in individual monitoring. General objective is to contribute to the implementation of the Council Directive 96/29/Euratom.The aim of the present accompany measures proposal is to obtain funding to:1. invited speakers to travel to the Workshop, give review papers covering their areas of specialist knowledge, and to chair sessions in the Workshop;2. members of the scientific secretariat to have a meeting before the Workshop;3. provide administrative support at the Workshop site both before and during theevent;4. cover the expenditures of publication of the proceedings.
