Obiettivo Target of the project is set-up of a new bi-layer treatment on dental and orthopedic prosthesis. This treatment should improve prosthesis osseointegration by producing the following effects: Faster osseintegration Longer life of implants Formation of a stable barrier against Ti corrosion by biological agents The coatings consist of a first TiC layer deposited according to a (Pat pend.) high energy process and a second polymeric resorbable layer containing hydroxyapacite particles and growth stimulating molecules (Pat.
