European eCommerce Associate Merchant Program

Objectif

This project aims to develop innovative and dynamically networked virtual environments called "corporation modelling platforms." These "Merchant Corporations" will draw their revenue by obtaining memberships and interfacing with existent web affiliate programmes. The created system will provide interested parties with the platforms, technological resources, business guidance, and real-world environments necessary for the building, business development, maintenance and growth of their own on-line merchant corporations. These real-world market business development environments will lead to unique business-led consensus e-Commerce model building between all the participants

The ECAMP project may be understood according to the following: Business, Technical, and Dissemination objectives.
ECAMP's business objectives are:
1) To transfer to parties the knowledge necessary to compete within the electronic marketplace;
2) To facilitate the development of e-Commerce applications and models for European organisations within real-world market environs;
3) To offer innovative virtual networking mediation systems for business inter-operation.

ECAMP's technical objectives are:
1) To create dynamic virtual environments, aiding the development of business models;
2) To develop an innovative system infrastructure supporting the system's co- & inter-operation of business processes.

ECAMP's dissemination objectives are:
1) To teach users effective e-Commerce strategies;
2) To develop dynamic teaching environments leading to business-led consensus model building.

Work description:
In the area of e-Commerce, trial and error prototyping and testing is essential. This is why the pilot approach will be used. A "Financial Pilot" and a "Cyber-Entrepreneurship Pilot" will be created for the project.

The ECAMP project will involve the following operational steps:
WP1: Positioning & Market Requirements;
WP2: Pilot Specifications;
WP3: Pilot Development;
WP4: Pilot Launch;
WP5: Evaluation and Assessment;
WP6: Dissemination and Implementation;
WP7: Project Management.
The project will commence with a requirement analysis phase.

In Work Package 1, detailed analyses of the market requirements will be performed.
Work Package 2 identifies system specifications (including the Corporation Generator, Independent Company Modules, Profile Resource Language, User Information DB, Audience Control Proxy, and the Contract Repository).
Work Package 3 addresses pilot development (including infrastructure and user interface design) and the finalising of contractual agreements.
In Work Package 4 the pilots will be launched within the respective host servers.
Work Package 5 is responsible for all Pilot evaluation and assessment activities. This will be performed upon technical and business action lines.
Work Package 6 consists of dissemination actions that seek to develop the further awareness of electronic commerce potential and involves the planning of exploitation activities, both preliminary and final. Initially a Dissemination Use Plan will be written. Upon the attainment of pilot results, the Technological Implementation Plan will be adapted and fine-tuned.
And finally, Work Package 7 addresses project management responsibilities.
