Objectif The Agricultural Research Institute of Cyprus, established in 1962, conducts theoretical and applied research on plant and animal production problems, and develops, evaluates and adapts under local conditions scientific findings and technology available. Its broad objectives are to optimise resource utilization, improve plant and animal productivity, generate and test improved technology for farmers. Employs 37 scientists, 65 technicians and a permanent and seasonal labour force of 100 people.
