Modelo de evaluacion de programas mejora eficiencia energetica para consumidores de baja tension

Obiettivo

To develop a model assessing the impact of current programmes aimed at improving the management of energy efficiency of lower voltage consumption.
It will be possible to provide a framework for assessing consumer benefits gained from the programme.

The aim of the INDRE project is to evaluate the savings potential of electricity Demand Side Management measures in the domestic and commercial low voltage sector.

The model integrates and compares information on customers who have already taken some measures in comparison with other customers. It is also used to estimate the effect of changes in equipment and use times amongst customers as a whole.

Impacts are studied both from the point of view of the consumer and the system and also take environmental effects into account.

Evaluation is carried out under different conditions as to certainty, depending on whether or not prior experiences exist in terms of large-scale or experimental implementation of the measure.

It is more likely that INDRE results will be successfully applied if: - Sufficient details are known of types of use amongst the population in respect of which measures can be taken; this is the case with the population of Spain;
- There is extensive or experimental experience with controlled results covering the target population; this is the case with implementation of night rates: efficient lighting and consumer education in Spain; - Experience capable of evaluation is available covering other populations with similar socio cultutral characteristics;
this is the case with Portugal and Spain, although with different degrees of similarity.
