Cel The knowledge and technology to be transferred to the host institution CTIC relates to environmental technologies/methodologies for the leather industry. Know-how referring to the following technologies/concepts will be transferred to the host institution during the project: Mass-balances of leather production Environmental review/audit of tanneries Life Cycle Assessment Water savings Hair-saving unhearing High-fixation chrome tanning Furthermore, future co-operation possibilities between the host institution CTIC (Alcanena, Portugal and the Danish Technological Institute will be identified and a plan for this co-operation will be elaborated.
