Pan european network for oceanographic and marine data & information management

Ziel

It is proposed to extend and to innovate the present EURONODIM network of 16 EU-member states ocean and marine data centers, as follows: a) Horizontally by adopting a pan-European dimension, including marine data centers of Eastern European countries around the Baltic Sea and Black Sea, as well as additional Mediterranean countries. b) Vertically by extending the Sea-Search services and products with among others Common Data Index metadata base for data sets held at partners and Trial with high-bandwidth communication between the partner sites.
