Objectif The general objective of the project is to develop a highly productive strip production process for all relevant steel grades. In this process the steel is cast on a moving belt cooled from below by water. After solidification and partial cooling in a protecting atmosphere, the steel strip with an as cast thickness of about 10 mm is continuously in-line hot rolled.
