Objectif The goal of this project is to study the reactions controlling the behaviour of painted steel products under cyclic exposure conditions. Active/passive transitions under the paint layer will be investigated using a new in-situ Kelvin microprobe, confocal Raman spectroscopy and galvanic coupling. This will help in the interpretation of accelerated test results, which still do not correlate well with the real behaviour of components under service conditions.
