Objetivo A number of actions have been taken to effect improvements in plate and strip flatness, while at the same time ensuring that internal stresses are reduced. Furthermore in the levelling of cold rolled and annealed products increasing standards of post-cutting condition can be attained. The project aims at the development of an automatic closed loop shape control system at a selected plate leveller and at the improvement of strip tension levelling machines. Further, a new non-destructive residual stress unit will be built and tested at a hot and cold shape off- and online.
