Obiettivo The prediction of the final properties of a steel-sheet during forming by simulation depends on the accuracy of the material properties description. This project will develop new material models and make them available in commercial software, providing the automotive industry with a powerful tool for better simulations of steel-sheet. The partnership provides the complete set of required experimental procedures. A constitutive algorithm will be developed to implement existing and new material models. Micro-mechanical investigation of the physical variables will inspire new macroscopic material models. An effective procedure will allow the parameter identification, replacing part of the experiments by micro-macro simulations.
