Objectif A demonstration facility based on a regenerative thermal oxidisers (some 10.000 m3 (STP)/h) will be designed and installed in by-pass on a sinter plant, with the objectives to reduce dioxin emissions. By changing some operational parameters (reaction temperature, residence time, and specific flow rate), it will be possible to define the optimal operational conditions. Some numerical simulations of dioxin destruction will be done as well.
