Institute of Materials Science and Engineering has long time experience in basic science combined with applied research applications. This successful activity was possible due to strong collaboration at international level and with a multidisciplinary orientation and approach. The present proposal combines both scientific and technological aims with industrial implementation of results, especially for medical applications .
