Objetivo The project now centres on use of the theoretical computer model evolved during the earlier phases in order to develop practical tools for the design of steel columns to which all potential users would have access. The proposed programme is divided into two parts covering: - fire tests on unprotected steel columns; - the preparation of design diagrams for those columns, due account being taken of beam type, column length, loading, fire-resistance class and the steel grades used.
