Materials recycling centre of excellence

Ziel

Principal objective is creation of the Materials Recycling Centre, which will be a leading centre in Central Europe, devoted to recycling a different kind of materials. Its mission is dissemination of knowledge on recycling of various products (waste packaging, end-of-life vehicles, electronics, buildings) and integration with the European Research Area through networking, exchange and twinning. MRC aim is implementation of sustainable development rules into practice. The project has been addressed to different groups of society:
administration,
business,
consumers and
youth.

A scope is Europe-wide, including 8 EC states, 6 NAB states, Israel, Turkey, Croatia, Ukraine and Russia. Majority of activities have been located in Poland, but also the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine and Russia will host activities of the Materials Recycling Centre.
