These objectives will be attained by) creating a GMO-bio safety communication network with centres in France, Germany, Italy, and Hungary's) creating a Europe-wide, web-based, public-access database of projects and researchers active in GMO bio safety research's) providing support for the editorial office of a new international journal in the field and its associated learned society's) participation of European scientists at the 7th International Bio safety Sir, Podium in 2002; 5) hosting the 8th Symposium in Europe In 2004, including North-South and Scientist-public Workshops.
