Fuel Cell Energy In Cities

The general objective of the CITYCELL project is to demonstrate the viability of innovative fuel cell applications and their infrastructure through the analysis, evaluation and validation of all the parameters (social, safety, technical, infrastructural, environmental, economical, etc.) that are relevant for the introduction of fuel cell bus networks in urban transport. The choice of an energy source must follow on from a comparative technological evaluation shared between representative (great experience in different typologies of transport systems) operator networks, components and bus manufacturers and research institutes. On each of the project sites, this will lead to a global evaluation as an essential result (technical and economical) of the whole project feasibility, including technical aspects, managing aspects and also the diffusion.
